Seems Like Yesterday~ Anniversary card

First of all, I want to thank all of you for your words of comfort yesterday, I really really appreciated your caring. I think we're all rather subdued here today but each day should get better....
Stacey, thanks for coming to be with me yesterday. She brought me chocolate and calming vitamins and just sat and crafted with me which helped to take my mind off things.
Then my sister and family came. My 6 year old nephew brought me a bunch of flowers and his 4 year old brought me a penny ("a coin to play heads and tails with") and "shum candy cuz your shad.". That was enough to get me bawling all over again!

Anyway! About the card. This is a card I made for Stacey and Aaron's 20th wedding anniversary. I knew she loved this digi by Mo Manning and although its not as elegant as I would have liked (Stacey is an elegant person) but I think she liked it so there ya go. :-)

Dorcas this is beautiful, and I'm sure she loved the card. The colors are fantastic. I tried to leave you a message too, but I ran into blogger issues. But I did want to express my words of love and sadness for your loss to you also. May the happy thoughts you have of him out-weigh the sadness. Love, dj

You are welcome girlfriend! What are friends for... chocolate and vitamins! LOL This will be a rough time for a while, but with all that chocolate there may be a few moments of joy! And with your new coin to play with, loads of fun right there! They are both sweeties! They made me laugh & cry too!
I LOVE the card! That image is a fav. and I could not have come close to the awesome coloring that you did! It is on my mantle as we speak! You even used purple for me! The only thing that would make it better would be pink! LOL! Just kidding, it is perfect the way it is! I love that I am towering over Aaron! He thought that was funny too! Thanks again! Love my gift too! I will be thinking about you today. Eat a Mallow Cup for me!

Hi, Dorcas!
You did great work! I love your card very much! Amazing coloring. I want to ask a question about it - what pencils do you use? Oil based? I know nothing about that Technic. And what about paper - is it craft paper?

Tine said...

Hi Dorcas. I had left you a comment but it doesn't seem to have saved it! Grrr.

Love the card & the cute image & I am sure Stacey & Aaron love it too.

I was so sorry to hear about poor Fibby. Remember, at least he isn't suffering anymore. Chin up.
