Hi Everyone!
I hope you're week is going well. All well here.:)
Today's card I made for a friend (Stacey, you know who you are. lol) who happens to have redecorated recently and while endeavoring to "step away" from the familiar purple comfort zone, found herself painting yet another purple room (under a different name).
So, being the sweet friend I am (and a confirmed purple hater) I made her a purple card to show that I don't let things like color stand in the way of friendship. lol
In saying that, this purple isn't too bad .....I find it didn't alter my mood too drastically while crafting. Stacey can tell you what purple normally does to me.....
Anyway!

Love it Dorcas! Congrats on partially overcoming your fear of purple....you know, a couple more purple cards might just do the trick. lol Maybe if you gave it a different name, like grape or amethyst it wouldn't have the same effect on you. Seriously though, I think it's fab. love the banner. I know Stacey will love it!

If the purples didn't look so much like blue sometimes I might choose them. But here you do a wonderful job keeping them in the same hues. Love ur coloring on the kraft cs. ;)
Awww For me?!! yes I totally Love it! It is sitting in my purple room being admired on a daily basis. Yes this card is a labor of love, a gift from a true friend! I am glad this didn't not alter the mood too much! I have found in your presence that mixing pink & purple is as deadly as mixing bleach and ammonia! Maybe not that bad, but Mallow Cups did not remedy it, so you know it is bad! LOL Thanks again girlfriend I love everything about it!

LOL, Dorcas. Purples are not your colours are they, LOL, but I know Stacey will appreciate your discomfort! LOL. I love it though, but I rather like lilacs. LOL. Another fab card using a lovely Mo image.

I make lots of cards and such with purples.
Presently live in a home with a lilac purple bathroom..with a green , pink and purple border up top...I HATE IT!!! When we bought it, it did have a dark purple bedroom, after 3 coats of paint, the purple succumbed to a nice shade of green.
Scientists say that the color purple helps people be more ready to learn new things. They way color affect people is astounding to me.
Someone did say purple! Your card is fabulous and what a great job on that sweet little girl!
