Princess Miserella

Hi Guys!
So today I have another "just for fun" card. I hadn't played with my penny black cats for a while and as you can see it was putting pussy in a bad mood. :) Or maybe its the pond water she's been drinking bothering her stomach. lol
She was so much fun to color! Those stripes were a dream!

Recipe:

Colors: CarbOthello Pastel Pencils
Papers: MME "Honeycake"

Thats it for today!
I'm just back from the beach today (If I haven't drowned myself)  so you've all been reading my pre programmed posts this last week. Sorry that I haven't been able to comment on all your creations but I hope to get caught up in a day or two when all the sand is brushed out of the house and the snarls ripped out of my hair :).
Til then, Happy Crafting!

From Me To You

Hi Guys!
Another card for you featuring the sentiments of Precious Remembrance. A week or so ago I had a crafting day with some friends and spent some time coloring some of my older images just for fun. Love the Penny Black "critters" so you'll be seeing a few of them in the weeks to come. It seems like ages since Ive colored any animals. Not quite sure if I got the hedgehog colors right. I'm more used to opossums in my part of the world. lol
Maybe some of my UK buddies can enlighten me. :)

Recipe:
Colors: CarbOthello Pastels
Ribbon: Sew Sweet
Button: from stash
Twine: Twinery Twine

Have a great weekend!!

Sentimental Sundays~ Cute and Cuddly

Hi Guys!
Are you having a good weekend? Gettting any time to craft? Or are some of you still shoveling snow?
The challenge this week at Sentimental Sundays is an easy one:
Cute and Cuddly
Now some of you may take exception to my duck card and say that there's nothing cuddly about a duck but I can assure you otherwise! Why just a few days ago I was feeding my ducks and one of my big white Pekings just flew into my arms! It was very sweet and cuddly of him. Unfortunately this display of affection caught both of us off guard and we both sort of shrieked/squawked  and jumped back.
Awwwww....

So anyway! My recipe:
Image: Penny Black
Colorants: Prismacolors
Papers: DCWV
ribbon and buttons: from my stash

Here's a close up of the sentiment:

That's it for today!
I would like to join in on these challenges:
Shannons Sentiments: Spring Colors
Creations By Gill: pets (yes, ducks are pets!)
Totally Gorgeous: Spring Has Sprung
Alphabet Challenge: U for things that go up in the air (birds go up, yes?)
Fairy Fun: Spring
Fuzzy Wuzzy: Animals with sketch

I think that's it for today!
I hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

A Hedgie Smile

Remember I said how I hate primary colors? Well there are exceptions to the rule. lol
When it comes to flowers like poppies and cornflowers, they just gotta be primary. The brighter the better. This is a very simple layout and not too much dimention but the image kind of makes up for it.
This stamp by Penny Black is just so much fun to color but you do need to allow yourself plenty of time!!!

My recipe:

This card fits the following challenges:

I may be back later on today if I can get another card done. I have a friend over crafting with me and I think we are just getting warmed up!
Take care guys and come back to see me! :-)

Just Hangin Out

Hi Everyone!
I hope your Monday is treating you well. Today's card is a Penny Black card. I don't often do PB because my supply of PB stamps is limited;  but a very sweet person stamped this image out for me so I could vary things a bit. Here's a frontal below:

Ahhh that's better. As most of you know I am not a glittery person. (dont like the mess) but the PB challenge called for glitter (*gasp*) and glitz. So I dug out my glitter jars, dusted them off and grabbed the glue.By the way,  If you're looking for the glitter it's in the flower centers. C'mon folks, baby steps here. lol
a close up:
Can you see it? Look closer, it's sparkly. :-)
My recipe is:
DPs: Mainly DCWV
Image: Penny Black
Colors: Prismacolor pencils
Bling: flowers, gems, pearls: Recollection
Glitter: Doodlebug Designs
Scalloped Ovals: Nestabilities
Punch: Fiskars

Some more details:

I would like to enter this in a few challenges:

Paper Sundaes: 4 flowers, 3 buttons, 2 DP
Sentimental Sundays: Ribbon or lace

And for those of you feeling bad that you didn't get a chance to make a card today, let me show you a couple of pics of my card in making:
See, you may not have been able to make a card, but that also means no mess! (I really should have taken a pic of the floor as that's where mosty of my mess ends up!)

For any who may be interested, I'm also passing the word that PB Allsorts is having a DT call. You can find the info here:

Have a great week!
