A Day For Daisies ~ Vintage

So today is my second and last project as GD for ADFD.
The challenge theme this week is:
Vintage
I'm doing a bit of paper piecing on Kraft cardstock and using my prismacolors on the rest.
The paper is K&Co. The punch is Martha Stewart.
The recipe was a cool vintage image that I found just googling vintage recipes. So I printed it out, roughed it up a bit and distress inked the edges. Let me tell you, it looks so real that while it was laying on my table waiting to be assembled, I found myself picking it up very gingerly, forgetting for a moment that it was just normal cardstock. lol

And a close up:

And just a cool little detail below.

So I hope you can play along. You have a whole fortnight to get a project together!
I would like to enter this in:
Play date Cafe: color, red green and black
AI factory: IN The Kitchen
ABC challenge: O is for Old Fashioned
Alphabet Challenge : Paper piecing
Fussy and Fancy: ,must feature something edible

Hugs,

Dorcas this is beautiful. It does look really old. I like the different layers of papers you've used, too. The pin looks really vintage also. Love, dj

Hi Dorcas. What a great idea to google a vintage recipe. All the elements work together brilliantly to create a fabulous distressed card.

This is really what vintage is about.
Even your image looks from years ago. Good job girl. Even the pin looks as it was of my grandma.

Just beautiful Dorcas. Love the cultured theme to this card. So love how you do this on kraft and which I could do it too, but no luck. Need to rub elbows with the Queen of Pencils and colouring. Hugs.
