Hi All!
Today's card I made just for the fun of it. No commitments or assignments involved, just an image I wanted to use for an occasion that hasn't even come up.
Love those kind. :-)
My only regret is that I used a thick paper to paper piece. Not a smart idea cos you can see/feel the edges. But ! I do looooove this paper pack and the pattern was just right.
My recipe:
Paper: MME Happier
Image: ADFD
Colors: Lyras/ Prismas
Ribbons: Sew Sweet
Brads: Basic Gray
I would like to play with:
ADFD: Texture (ribbons, bradz, raised image and alas ~raised paperpiecing. :-/)

It's a beauty again, but I can understand what you say about the thick paper piece. Now it looks (sorry) a bit like a blanket. Normaly you color all the folds. And it looks like one piece.
But still this card is a beauty.
Sorry for being honest.
Big Hugs Marianne
It's beautiful, it's pretty, I love it! x
Love it Dorcas,Aa gorgeous image.xxx
Dorcas this is really very beautiful. I love the paper, but I know what you mean about it being a little thick. Hugs, dj
This is beautiful Dorcas! Love her paper pieced dress. Looks like she was meant to go with the DP you chose. ~jeni :)
This is such a sweet image! I love the paper and I can never say enough about your fantastic coloring. I keep saying I am going to try coloring on kraft but I always forget about 10 seconds after I say it! I really must do that even though I know I can never come close to your beautiful artwork. As for the paper piecing, I think it's fine for the edges to be visible as it gives the appearance of texture and dimension that aren't easy to achieve with the coloring alone. I think it's perfect and how sweet that it was one of those "just because" projects.
Hugs,
Anniebee
