Foxy Lady

Hi Folks!
So this is a little funny. I was checking A Day For Daisies challenge a few days ago to see what the new theme was. It was "Flocking". I thought, cool. Birds. I like birds. No, flocking as in fuzzies. Noooo! Don't make me do this! I always swore I would not stoop to buying fuzzies in a bottle. Well you'll be glad to know ( I think) that I didn't. I just asked my hubby for some belly button lint.
ROFL. Ok, I didn't do that either. :-)
After politely declining to make a card this week after viewing the challenge, "Sorry. No flocking. Can't do it." Tracy sent me a link on how to make flocking. Thats right. How to make fuzzies. Like I said, our hubbies have it all worked out. (Hey I'm running low on black, can you wear your star wars shirt today?) But no, they want you to get a cheese grater and shred paper to make fuzzies.
Seriously! People think us crafters will do anything!
Well I used the sharp edge of a scissor blade with much the same results.
My daughter was like, "Oooh cool you're making fuzzies!" Yup, Moms are the smartest things evah!

Recipe:
Paper: October Afternoon
Digi: ADFD
Colors: Prismacolors and Lyras
Ruffle: from stash
Little buttons: Home Sew

So have a good look at the tail. Pretty rustic, huh? Like a well loved teddy bear with its fur all nappy. lol
It makes me laugh just looking at it, so thanks Tracy, I needed that!

I am using this card as my project for The Catered Crop this fortnight, which by the way, isn't this fortnight at all, its the last challenge til the new year. Yup. We all are having a break! So nows your chance to play along! And know what else is  ironic,  guess whose card we're casing? Tracy's!! Ding Ding Ding!
See below, she does gorgeous work!!

Too funny girlfriend! Ok does Jonathan even have a Star Wars shirt?!! LOL! Don't you remember my everlasting card with the chicks and I had my hand made fuzzies on it? You made me take t off, and you kept finding them on the floor? It is kind of fun to make. I just took my exacto knife and scraped! OK I am curious about the Poodles Parlour Challenge. You wanted to be a Foxy Lady when you grew up?!! LOL! Great card BTW! Love the lace and that splash of red!

LMBO I'm so glad you shared that belly button lint solution with everyone else so they could get as big a laugh as I did. :-) I love the look you got for the tail. It really needed the extra roughness. Nothing to laugh about there. Totally love the card and of course I'm really happy that you were able to join in the challenge. :-)
Thank you so much for the shout out and for posting my case card for The Catered Crop. You're a sweetheart!
Huge Hugs!
