Tender Thoughts

Hi All!
Well yesterday I had the good news to learn that I won a free image from A Day For Daisies for their October card game. Yahoo! It came at just the right time as I needed to make a card for a sweet friend of mine who lost her son in law at 41 to cancer last week. I thought this image was perfect and I just printed the words underneath the image.
The layout is pretty CAS (for me) but I really wanted to showcase the image which says it all.

My Recipe:
Colors: Lyra Rembrant and Prismacolor Pencils
Banner die : Whimsy
Pearls: A gift

And a close up cos I think you need to see the beauty of this image. Its so sweet.

A few challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge - Stitches Real or Faux-1st Week
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes (+ a bit of bling if you like)
Ribbon Carousel Challenge - must include spooled item - Anything Goes
ColourQ - Color Challenge* (I chose lighter hues of these colors)
My Grafico - Always anything goes
Make it Monday with Kraft Outlet -  Banners or Border Punches

Thanks for coming by!

This really is a lovely image, Dorcas! How sad that your friend's SIL died so young. He was probably a really nice guy too. It seems to happen that way most of the time. And if that's so, I may live forever! Bwahahaha! Just kidding... I'm a pretty nice person too, It think. Thanks for sharing this beautiful creation with your readers and thanks for visiting my blog today too!

Hugs,
Anniebee

A lovely card. The image reminds me of my sixteen year old daughter. She has a sweetness about her that this image projects. So pretty.
