Miss Me Yet?

So here's a good challenge for you! This week's theme at Mo's Digital Challenge is:
The Great Outdoors.
I took the theme  "tongue in cheek". It doesn't seem to matter how "great" the outdoors are, cats always want to get back in. Especially if they've been kicked out, which, judging by the ripped wallpaper, has been the case here.
I love this paper pack, the paper looks just like wallpaper to me . I was like a little kid playing with a dollhouse.
Recipe:
Image: Mo Manning
Colors: Prismacolors
Sentiment: typed on PC
Twine: Sew Sweet
Brad: from stash

LOL! Reminds me of my childhood and we didn't realize the cat even got out until dinner when we all saw it outside the window on the ledge. Looked just like that...hahaha!

Dorcas, what a fun take on the theme! Great scene with the papers and your lovely coloring! I love the image and your story. This reminds me of when my son was in Iraq and I was taking care of his cat, who wasn't allowed outside. However, one cold night she did get out and disappeared for hours! How was I going to tell my son on the other side of the world that his beloved cat was missing? Finally hearing her meowing at the window, much like this image, was the sweetest sound!
