So Romantic

Hi Everyone!
So this week's challenge with the Kraft Journal is : So Romantic.
As some of you may know, I'm not really the romantic type of cardmaker so I did the best I could under the circumstances. lol
I love this image by ADFD, kind of art nouveau  romantic. I colored her with my usual prismas and lyras on kraft. It's a bit of a quirky color combination, I'll admit it, but it felt right at the time and made sense. Now? Well, I'm trying not to think too hard on it.  It is puzzling. lol.

Recipe:
Image: ADFD
Colors: Lyras and Prismacolors
Papers: DCWV
Punch: Martha Stewart
Card Candy: Joanna Sheen

Thanks for visiting and I hope you get some crafting time in this week!
Hugs All

You did a beautiful job, even though it's not totally your style. The black paper, hearts paper and lace really do are gorgeous, as is your coloring, of course. The colors are great. In my opinion, you're the "Queen of Kraft". Hugs, dj

Dorcas, This is adorable how you have used the backing paper colours for digi. This is probably my favourite ADFD stamp. Rose is beautiful, I love white roses, you see.
Very romantic and stylish :)

Hi Dorcas. As you can see, I am on the road to recovery now. For someone who says she doesn't do romantic cards, this one is great. Fab colouring as usual.

I like it!! The background paper is perfect for this image! The strip of turquoise brings out the flower and makes it pop! I totally see where your coming from! The image is very pretty and of course colored perfectly!
