Just when you'd thought you'd seen the last of me (at least til Thursday) I'm baaaaack!
And I'm afraid you'll be seeing a lot more of me this month. I have the privilege of guest designing for ADFD and as such I will be showing you two projects every Wednesday for the whole month of January. How fun is that! Well, at least for me it is, you all have to see more of my projects cluttering up your blogger dashboard. lol
OK, so I decided to name this post "Sunflowers" because well, my two cards feature sunflowers but are presented quite differently.
Firstly, Ive got "Light Of My Life", a stamp that Tammy created based on a real photograph.
Isn't it superb?
I am using paper by Cosmo Cricket and bakers twine by the Kraft Outlet.
Here's a close up of the digi:
And below we have "Sunflower Girl" based on a photo I sent Tammy of myself. ROFL.
OK, maybe not.
Here I am using papers by DCWV, a ribbon by Sew Sweet and decorative corner by Wild Orchid Crafts.
The coloring for both cards was done with Lyras and Primacolor pencils on Kraft.
Now I was in a bit of a quandry here with regards to what the fine lady was leaning on. I thought at first it was a silken draped table. My friend Stacey suggested a stump. For the heck of it I made it into a stump since she's such an outdoorsy type of person with all kinds of flowers wrapped around her and stuff.
She's better be careful ;I think crows like sunflower seeds. Has she never watched "The Birds"? lol
And a close up:
OK, I think that's it from little ol me today!
I'll be back tomorrow. I know, I know, but I did warn you ahead of time!
Hugs All

I've been a fan ADFD for a long time now, and my jaw just dropped with these gorgeous cards you've created. Your pencil coloring on Kraft paper just blows me away, a true artist!
Wow, wow, wow! Two very beautiful cards, and your colouring is just amazing, especially the way you've coloured the tree stump.
Congratulations on your GDT position.

Dorcas, these are both stunning! They must have taken ages to colour but they are truly beautiful. Whoever eventually receives them will be very lucky.

Dorcas- these cards are incredible. Love the image of the kids and how special that is to be made into a stamp! Your stitching on that card is wonderful. Love how you got the white to stand out on the kraft cardstock - your coloring is amazing.
Both cards are very pretty, but my personal favourite is the second one - I love the crisp colors - yellow and black - and as all the other commenters already said: your coloring is excellent and the coloring on kraft cardstock has become your personal "trademark"!
Have a nice weekend!(we have a holiday tomorrow)
Hugs,
Uli
