Gone Fishing

Hi Guys!
As you know its the start of a new month so we have a new challenge at Mo's!
As always, our first challenge of the month is: Anything Goes with the option of using a fabby sketch by our teammie Iulia! Thanks Iulia!

I decided to use the sketch although I had to adjust it slightly to accommodate my large image which I just HAD to make large cos its such a great picture and I wanted to use my pastels on it and try something new (for me) A sunset/ sunrise.
What do you think? Was it a good experiment?
I have to say I had fun with this , all the smudging with my fingers and getting all dusty and pink was great fun. And even better than making a mess I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, too. :)

Recipe:
Image: Mo Manning
Colors: CarbOthello Pastel Pencils
Paper: MME "Sunshine" and 'Portobello Road".
Buttons and Wire: from stash
Button Twine: Sew Sweet

So I hope you can join in the fun this week at Mo's!
I look forward to seeing all your projects!

My 1st thought was: what a peaceful scene!! I love your sunset!! And the red wire coils/spirals!
At school I couldn´t stop painting sunsets, because it was so easy with my watercolors and looked good every time :-)

Uli

I love this! I've used this image too and it IS wonderful to color! Funny - I was just contemplating digging out my pastels for a background - used to do it all the time as a kid. Love smudging. This came out great!
