A Nutritional Overachiever

So any of you know the feeling when you get all your summer clothes down from the attic and find that everything but one lousy pair of shorts (that you didn't even like anyway) has shrunk? I say its the heat of the attic but the scale says differently.Liar!
Thankfully my sister is in the same boat (and she doesn't have an attic so whats her excuse?) so we can joke about it together. I made this card for her.

By the way, what kind of idiot weighs herself with a towel on? Doesn't she know it adds at least two pounds? More if its wet. Nope, say no to towels. I only weigh myself first thing in the morning, before I get a glass of water and after Ive gone to the bathroom  lol. Yesiree, Ive outsmarted that scale more than once!

Oh but I havent told you all what the challenge is this week at Mo's!
It's HUMOR
Dang! I forgot to go over my black lines! Man, I hate that!

Don't you love the position of her toes? Oh look! I weigh 13 pounds ! I guess I was feeling rather skinny! lol

Can't wait to see all your hilarious projects!

Chortle - but Dorcas, if she didn't have her towel on the image would be X-rated!!!! Besides, having a towel means you can show off your towelling-colouring skills.
Fun card with a great sentiment and I hope your sister can see the funny side too. LOL.

Dorcas, it's ok to wear the towel, you just subtract the extra two pounds. See -- no problem! LOL. Great card, and I'm sure Donna will love it. Hugs, dj

Thanks for this little splash of humor, Dorcas! I needed a little fun today (I woke up with a headache)! I don´t have an attic either - so what´s my excuse???? I´m afraid don´t have one :-(

Hi Dorcas, I am a new follower today and have to thank the lovely Linda W of http://lindysmaidwidluv.blogspot.com/ for guiding me to your blog. I am a newbie at pencil colouring and recently put a card on my blog using pencils and Linda said that she finds your blog very helpful.... so here I am. I adore you card and your colouring is fabulous. One thing I must say from reading your blog, you should take the praise for your colouring because as much as you used a book etc to aid you, everyone had to learn from someone or something at some stage. That is what learning is all about.. so girl your colouring rocks and I am in awe. May I put a link on my blog to your tutorials please, I think some of my followers would love to see what you do?
See you again soon Hugs Linda xx

Hmmm, I don't think your card would have looked as lovely if she had nothing on! I don't even bother to weigh myself now, its too depressing. Im even fatter than after I had the kids!

I'm not even going to comment on the clothing issue--too depressing. :-) I got so tickled when I read this sentiment on your card in the gallery. I definitely fit in this category. I love the fuzzy look you got on her towel. Well done Dorcas!
