You And Me

Hi Everyone!
How are things in your hemisphere?
I have a new crafty obsession. As you already know I like to sew. But making things for myself is always a disappointment as commercial patterns just don't fit "right". So I'm learning how to draft and alter patterns to fit real people.(as in ..me. lol ) It kind of has my attention consumed right now so I've been  a little distracted.
Anyhoo!
We have a new challenge for you all at Mo's Digital Pencil!
Anything Goes!
I decided to color up Mo's new Sailor boy image (its part of a set and they're all adorable!)
As usual I used my prismacolors and Lyras (Prismas on the suit, hair and bear and Lyras on the skin). The papers are "Harvest Market" by Lilibee Designs.
Dies are Whimsy, button and Jute ribbon is from Bunny Zoes and the sentiment is by Precious Remembrance.

And here's a close up of the boy. :)

Thanks for coming by for a visit!
I really appreciate all your comments. Blogger continues to be a pain for me in not giving me my reader list in Dashboard so I apologize yet again for not being able to blog hop as I used to. Sometimes I click on your thumbnails to visit  but many of my readers don't have a link to their blog on their google profile. It might be  a good idea to check your settings to see if this is so in your case.
Anyway! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I'll be back next week!

He's just gorgeous Dorcas! That set is on my to buy list. Every image is adorable. Your coloring is just stunning, but then it always is. :-)
Altering patterns huh. I wouldn't even know how to begin doing that. LOL I'm lucky I can sew a straight line--sometimes. :-) Hugs!

Hiya, it's me again. What type or sharpener you use with Prismacolors?

:) Still raining but I have kraft, pencils and time!

I saw this at Mo's challenge site and it suddenly dawned on me that I haven't visited your blog in quite a while... so here I am! This is gorgeous!! And your coloring, if possible, just gets better and better. I think I need to try out for Mo's DT when she has her next call! That would be so fun!

Hi Dorcas. I could hangout at your blog all day! When I look at one of your cards, I love to really examine your beautiful stitching, clever layouts, pretty embellishments and of course your wonderful colourwork. Nobody colours on Kraft like you do. It's amazing. Of course when I spend so much time admiring all the folds of your mages clothes and the highlights in their hair, I don't then have time to comment on everything but I do admire every single one. This little lad's clothing, hair and teddy is SUPERB! hugs, Lesley
