Sunny Bear

There's something so comforting about playing with Crayolas. They're the artsy equivilent of  comfort food, you could say that crayons are my macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes.(Lets throw a pickle in there too!)
Front view:
I put this card together last night and was sooo not happy with it. The image was great, but the card just wasn't grabbing me. Once I added the blue I knew it was gonna be allright. (but still not my favorite). It needs something.....maybe a swift  kick across the room. lol
My recipe is:
Image: Lili Of The Valley
Colors: Crayola Crayons and goo gone for blending
DPs: Assorted
Gems: Recollection
Scalloped circles and ovals: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Sewing: Machine done
Ribbon: Offray
3D foam sticky pads: Recollection

And getting up close and personal:

and the embellies:

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

The ABC Challenge: A Is For August
LOTV: Sketch
Simon Says:  lyrics "I wanna soak up the sun"
Fab N Funky: Spotty Dotty and Stripes
Just Cute Bears: Anything But Square with a tag

It came out very nice! You put a lot of details into it! The stitching is cool, I love the zig zag jewels and the color is so bright and cheery. The blue does make it pop a bit!

I have never wanted to kick a card across the room! {insert sarcasm here} You are so funny, tell it like it is, right? Well I think your card is sunny and cheery and all around awesome! I'm gonna start calling you the queen of the machine!(hey, I like the way that sounds!) Those stitches are fab...I don't think I'd have the courage to try something like that!

I just posted a new card today and I thought it was neat that we had used the same image. Great minds do think alike I guess. Or maybe I should say one great mind (yours) and one not so great anymore mind (mine). LOL! Great job. Your coloring is always fantastic. Hugs,
