Hi ALL!
I hope you're all having a great week! :-)
Today's challenge at Mo's is a fun one. "Go Retro".
I really don't know a whole lot about the decades before I came to be so I chose a color scheme from basically every person's home in the 1970's.
You gotta love those shag carpets, olive tupperware and mustard telephones.
A close up:
I am using a mo image colored with prismacolors on Kraft cardstock and have used assorted papers from my stash. :-)

Really love this, what a fabulous image.xxx
Beautiful card. Love the colours and the image looks super on kraft. Not tried it yet but might have a play after seeing your gorgeous card.
Hugs, Mette
GORGEOUS coloring.. This is the perfect retro image.. You did a great job on this one.
Great card. It's just a shame that you described the colors in my first home after I got married. LOL! Hugs, dj
Hi Dorcas. Great card and a great take on the challenge. The geometry of it works well with your '70s theme. Fab colouring too!

Very nice! Always loved that image! You got those colors spot on! Perfect! We still use those colors today, but we call them different names, and somehow it seems all better LOL! Like pumpkin, and olive green, mustard...
Oh Dorcas...LOL!!! I sooooooo remember shag carpeting (I had to "rake" it after my mother vacuumed!! hahaha!)...and olive & mustard appliances! Let me tell you, I love your card...and it completely captures the late-60's & 70's!! Such gorgeous coloring...and, again, the craft paper is such fun!!! Thanks so much for your warm welcome, Dorcas. I'm soooooo excited to be joining you and the other creative geniuses on the DT! Not to mention getting to color Mo's images each and every week! YAY! Hugs...Pat Frank
Such an adorable image, love the colouring of course. What a co-incidence, I'm in the middle of making a retro themed card, now I have a challenge for it lol. Hugs lin
except it has no Mo's image for it lol. Wonder if I can squeeze it in. Hugs lin
What a cheerful card!!! I especially love this one - it reminds me of my sweet grandmothers, who died too young :-( I think of them very often...
Yup! I remember those colors! Wonderful take on the challenge. Your work is always gorgeous!
