Your Kindness Warms My Heart

Hi Guys!
Can you believe I actually made this card today and am posting it? Lately Ive been working about three weeks ahead so this seems so strange to me. And yet I feel so efficient cos its not cluttering up my drafts.
Anyway, I thought I'd better color up this little guy while it was still "winter" though we have seen precious little in the way of winter this year and no white stuff at all. Doesn't seem like winter without snow. But if I was in South Africa it would probably be 90 degrees and yet winter....strange..
Today is about 60 degrees and rainy. And thats another thing we haven't seen much of ~ rain . My poor ducks.:(  But I'm not going to go on and on talking about the weather cos then you'd know I've been married to my British hubby an awwwwwwwful long time! lol
Back to the card!
Another first for me:
Lace doily.
hmmmmmmm..not sure. I think lace doilies should have a cup of tea and cookie on them, but it does add...something.

Recipe:
Colors: Prismacolors and Lyras

Hi Dorcas,
yes the British love to talk about the weather. It has been cold and wet here for a while now.
Your card is really lovely. Love the large photo too

We had very little snow last week - but this years winter is not really a winter... I don´t care - spring is welcome!
Adorable card! Yes, a doily most often adds a very nice accent to a project!

I love this! The colors are great, love the image and you know I love the doily! They are great with a cup of tea and a cookie, but when you are done with that they are great on a card!

You crack me up! I LOVE the doily...even without its accompanying tea and cookies! hehe! So, get this...I was just wondering how your ducks are doing...I swear. Weird! Not only are you rubbing off on me with that whole orange thing...but now I'm thinking about your ducks! LOL! Another adorable and brilliantly executed piece of art, sunshine!! Sending warm hugs your way! I'm lovin' this weather...no snow is just "ducky" as far as I'm concerned!!! hehehe! Pat
