A Day For Daisies

Hi Guys!
Well I just found a couple of cards that were nearly lost/deleted. I had forgotten about them and somehow they ended up in my "recycle bin" which would have been 'never to be seen again' for at least one of them as I had already sent it to someone so couldn't retake the picture. But all's well that ends well and here they are.
These were cards I created 'just for fun' from my older stash of papers. They're quite "wintery" so I thought Id better publish them before Spring comes. However, Spring isn't feeling too imminent at the moment so I'm probably safe. lol

Recipe:
Image: ADFD
Colors: Prismacolors and Lyras
Papers: from stash
Dies: Spellbinders, Sizzex
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug
Punch: Martha Stewart
Buttons: from stash

And another card along the same color scheme/ ingredients....
This one is quite an unusual image, you might need to look closely to notice that there are mice in her hair. :)
It struck the artsy side of me and I had to color it.
Think of them as "Cinderella's friends" and you might not get the eeby jeebies :)

Thats it for today!
Have a great day everyone :)

I think they're both gorgeous. Of course I love the polar bear one the most. But I am intrigued by the second one, too. And you're right Cinderella did have help of the mice, etc. She looks contented with them. LOL. Hugs, dj

I'm glad that you found these "lost" creations. Otherwise we hadn't seen this beautiful and sweet image of the polarbear with kids.
Love the colorcobimbination of light yellow and blue.
The other one is colored beyond perfectness.

Have no idea how you manage to make so many cards; they are not very sophisticated but still they require quite some thinking because there's nothing at random on them plus that coloring must take you a while no matter how quick one could be. I'm glad you didn't "lose" these before showing them to us. These are so lovely and colored so beautifully. The first one really makes me cold; the paper selection is fantastic!

Love both of these, for different reasons. The polar bear is just adorable, but the girl with the mouse brings back memories lol. At the risk of creeping you out...when we (Paula and myself) kept rats they loved to sit on our shoulders...you can easily fit up to half a dozen across both. All that would be seen is an occasional tail peeking out amongst our hair lol. I've tried to find the image on ADFD but couldn't....any hints were to look. Hugs lin
