Good morning all!
Its time for a new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil!
It's time to Bling It On!
OK, I'm not the "blingiest" person out there, I'll admit it; but if you look closely you will see exactly three gems on this card. And a bow. :) Success!
Recipe:

Sentiment: Precious Remembrance
Colors: CarbOthello Pastel Pencils on Kraft cardstock
Just a FYI for all you fabulous 'colorers' out there. You can see that I colored this Kraft with pastel pencils. It worked but it really isn't ideal. If you're looking to do pastels I would highly recommend you buy pastel paper. It works so much nicer and the pigment stays put much better. You have to be very careful not to smudge the pastel on kraft, it kinda just sits on top, you know?
You can use a matte spray fixative to set the colors (not perfectly) but keep in mind that fixative can dull your colors, especially whites so I choose not to.
*Reminder*
There's still time to enter for a chance to win the "Friend " stamp set by Precious Remembrace be sure to click on the candy in my sidebar and add your name to Mr. Linky. A winner will be drawn at the end of the month. :)
Happy Crafting!

Ah, but remember Dorcas you don't need to add the bling as you are a "gem" yourself!!

Well, considering the woman is in her PJ's how much bling does she need. LOL It's a perfect card just the way it is.
Thanks for all the tips on the pastels. I checked them out at DB and was pleasantly surprised at the price. Think I better get more proficient with my pencils before I try those though. :-) I'll just keep drooling over all yours. Hugs!
Another gorgeous card Dorcas, I just love how you use your pencils

You did a brilliant job with your pastels. For me - it's the Kraft I find scary! I think I'll leave it to the experts like you! Lovely creation, Dorcas! Hugs, Lesley
beautiful card, Dorcas, this is such a gorgeous image, and I love your colouring! I'm not ''blingy'' at all, I really was in trouble!

hugs, Alina
Hi Dorcas, I noticed in your previous cards that you are not so "blinky". But you did a nice job. I love the coloring with pastels, but I never tryed myself.
But where can I buy time, when I see howmany cards you make, everyday, is it your job????? Lol
Hugs, José ( sorry for bad english)
So glad I am not the only nonblinger in the bunch.. This is such a great image and I have never colored her up. Great coloring as always. The pastels sound so neat.
Always loved this image! That robe looks familiar... You just need socks and flip flops and it is you my friend! LOL! Love all your yummy papers!
