Things Can Only Go Up

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by :)
This is my last post for The Kraft Journal. It has been an awesome 5 months working with them. I would have been with them another month there if it weren't for a bad case of "Blogging Burnout". Ever catch it? Its scary. You wonder if you'll ever be in the groove again. *sigh*
In the past month or so I have come off some really wonderful teams and I  hope that someday they'll have me back.  For now I need a break to get my swing again. I have no intention of stopping blogging I just need to lighten the load a bit.
So back to this week's challenge:

Here's mine:

Thats it from me!
I'm taking a blogging break for a week or two so bear with me and I'll be back soon.
Happy Crafting!

Hi Dorcas. Well I love it. Such a sweet new image of Mo's and a beautifully coloured sky to send that cutie into. The layout works perfectly for her too. Hope your mojo isn't away too long.

It is good to take a break every once in awhile - creating should never feel like it is dragging on you. Hope you find some wonderful ways to recharge. Your work is fabulous and this card is so positive and affirming! Wonderful stuff!!!

So adorable again, Dorcas!!!
I´ve to apologize, that I´m so lazy in commenting - I guess I suffer from "blogging burnout", too! ;-) So I can understand what you mean...
I concentrate a little more on my photography skills these days... there´s such a good natural light in the summer months!
Have a nice summer, Dorcas!
Hugs,
Uli

Hi Dorcas,
I love this one, it's soooo sweet.
I had a break for 3 weeks, and today was my first workingday.
I hope you have a nice break and don't do things I won't doing.
Please take a good rest so we can enjoy your work when you come back.
Hugs, José

Hello!

Beautifully done! I love this new image of Mo's! You are one very talented woman and I hope that some time away will bring back the joy for you in creating! I have been fighting the burnout for a long time now - seems that when life gets in the way, it takes away the creative energy. A nice thing about blogging is that one can put forth a positive outlook no matter what the reality but there comes a time when a break is needed. I look forward to your next post and wish you a happy day today!

Hugs,

Barbara Diane

What a perfect way to use those cut offs. That image shape just lent itself perfectly. Just the little break from commenting this week was a nice rest so I totally understand you blog burnout. We have no intention of letting you go completely you know. :-) Relax and rejuvenate! We sure will miss you on the team. Hugs!

Hi Dorcas, very cute card! I totally understand your need for a break. I have done the same thing and even though I am back to posting, I don't do it as often as I did. There's no fun in feeling pressured. Have a lovely summer & I look forward to seeing you back here in a few weeks.

Hi Dorcas, Your card is awesome. And I totally understand the "burnout" mode. That's exactly where I'm at. I have things in the works, but the going is quite slow. Take care and I look forward to your blogs later. Hugs, dj

Dorcas, this is darling! Absolutely wonderful. As always, I'm immediately struck by your beautiful coloring! Such a talent you have. The layout is super and I just love this adorable Mo Manning image. SUCH a precious card! You'll be sorely missed, I'm sure, on the teams but you must do what is right for you and be able to enjoy and not be pressured by it. I'll continue to faithfully follow your blog!

Cheers!

had to look up what that idiom with getting your swing means...lol. Something like the mojo, I guess.
Hey , the important thing is to have fun in this cardmaking world of hours, do not overwhelm yourself with being in many DTs. Im sure they all have wonderful people to work with but there still are deadlines and other obligations which after a while get to be a bit of a burden and diminish the creative mood although this is not noticeable in your work. Thats my case, at least. When I'm pressed by time I really cannot create and spend more time putting together a card. Im in two DTs and feel its more than enough.
Hugs
