Hi!
So is anyone sick of seeing pumpkins and colored leaves yet? Is the whole "fall " thing getting to you yet? I think I'll be ready for it to go bye bye very shortly! lol And its a shame, really, cos orange and green are some of my fave colors too, but blogland is making me sick of them!
But I loved this little guy with his pumpkin (kids always grab the biggest of anything!) and of course, orange was the logical color. There's always the exception.... I distinctly remember taking our daughter to a pumpkin patch in kindergarden and she came home with this tiny white pumpkin and I was like, "You wanted that?!" You know, I'd be grabbin the BIG one!
My recipe:
Papers: Assorted, and Coredinations
Image: Mo Manning
Colors: Prismacolors
Punches: Martha Stewart
Netting: Magic Scraps
Nesties
I did have fun coloring this little guy :-)
You like my little pumpkin button? I thought that was pretty clever of me. lol It was the feel good moment of the whole card.... that and adding the stem...it wasn't originally a giant pumpkin, you know, just a circle, but I was very pleased when it came to me. Please don't tell me it's corny you'll burst my bubble...:-)
This card fits the following challenges:
Creative Belli Blog: Pumpkins
Stampavie and More: Autumn
Shabby tea Room: Pumpkins
Paper Playtime: Orange as main color
Mo's Digital Pencil : sketch
Thanks for coming by today.
I'm afraid this will probably be it for the weekend but I'll see you around next week!

A-dorable ... and no, I'm not sick of pumpkins yet!!! Fall is my favorite time of year and I think pumpkins are beautiful :) Thanks for sharing your sweet design with us this week in the Tea Room :)
He is a cute little guy. So far I still like the fall colors, but I know what you mean about overkill. But it's a good thing, because over at The Character Cafe it's one of the ingredients for each card this month. Have a great weekend. :-)
Very clever of you! The whole card came out good! Of course the coloring! Superb as usual! The layered punches. I have that one, but forget to layer it like that! And of course the little button pumpkin! The colors look good too. The little splash of blue is nice.
Wonderful card, colours and colouring great as usual. Another really fun card. Your button is just the right finishing touch. I'm not done with fall yet, I feel I still have a lot of fall in me....or do I mean falls lol. Hugs lin
This card is just the sweetest! I love the pumpkin shape you've framed the image with...very clever. Thanks for sharing your work with us in Mo's Challenge this week.
Hi Dorcas, my, you are quick off the mark! How do you find the time to fit more fabby cards into your day. Wonderful card of course, and I am indeed getting rather pumpkin weary. LOL.
Tine :)
Adorable blog! I love the way you color your images; it's such a different style than mine. Thank you for the super sweet comment on my blog. I know what you mean about the holding the pencil thing; people have been trying to correct me ever since I learned how to write. My parents actually think that I was supposed to be left-handed, but since my right-handed mother taught me how to write, I "rebelled" and held my pencil a really odd way. It was nice to "meet" you! Hope to see you around the bloggy world :) Hugs!
This is so sweet.. I never get sick of pumpkins.. Your coloring is beautiful...Thanks for joining us at Mo's.
This is so very adorable. Everything about this card is wonderful. The DP, stitching, punches, buttons all fabulous. Great job and thanks for sharing on the Belli challenge.

Look how sweet! I love the way the image is set into a pumpkin image. Adorable! Thanks for playing in paper with us at Paper Playtime. :) Janis
This is simply adorable Dorcas. I am so in love with your colouring. I don't have prismas and I so need to get some. I do have watercolour pencils but not the real good ones. This little guy is so adorable and I so love the colours that you chose to colour him with. I for one am not sick of the fall colours yet because it is my favorite time of year. I guess I haven't seen enough blogs with these colours hey! Just wanted to say thanks for the link that you provided me with regards to challenges. Your so kind and the snowmen that I coloured on my blog were coloured with a combination of distress inks and stampin Up inks. It turn out great, but I feel that I am needing to learn to colour more like what you have going on here. I guss I am more use to filling in an image and adding my own highlights but your way is easier. I did try the colouring on kraft but it didn't work. What you blend with when you do this because I was finding that when you don't you are just layering colour on colour and it showes where the two meet. I wish I could sit and watch you do it. I think that you are one of the best by far. Yes, I do mean it. I sit here and look at your cards on the side and I am in awe. Just amazing. Anyway just want to say you added another loved card to my list with today's post. Love Ya!
this is adorable dorcas, very beautiful card.

Hi, missus!!! I feel your pain - it's not like I detest fall colours or imagery, there's just no tradition of fall and Halloween cards here. So if I'm making stuff for different challenges Haloween and Fall themes, I'm essentially whipping out "dead" cards that will most likely never leave my craft room.
Your colouring is something else again - love how you mix the colours and create shadows and higlights!
