Some Days Just Stink

Hi All!
Today's card is a product of my frustration.
Have any of you cardmakers out there ever tried to sell your cards? If you have, you'll probably know just what this little boy (and me) is feeling. lol
Need I say more?

My recipe:
DPs: DCWV
IMage: Mo Manning
Colors: Prismacolors, copics (for skin)
Faux Stitching: Soufflet pens
Distresing: Distress Inks

Below is a close up:

By the way, this chair the boy is sitting on brings back memories. Seems all the lawn chairs growing up were made of this scratchy vinyl ribbon. It was ok til it started fraying and then got super itchy!
and the tag...

This card qualifies for these challenges:

Incy Wincy: Faux it up
The Crazy Challenge: Fruitilicious
Craftilicious: anything goes
All Sorts: song inspiration (Lemon Tree~ Peter, Paul & Mary)
MMSC: Sketch
Digital Tuesday: Sew special with digi

Thats my offering for today! lol

This is gorgeous Dorcas!! I so love your bright colors and design!! What a fun image and sentiment. I sold my cards for over a year and then I decided it was too stressful and was more like work than fun. Now I just stamp for fun!!

Chris

I hear ya about the card sales.....frustrating. Amazing people will pay and arm and a leg for something not nearly as sweet as something like this! GREAT Coloring! I can feel that lawnchair as I type this ....lol. Thanks for the memories.

Great job! Perfect image! Describes it perfectly! Everyone here in blogland totally understands. You only need one shop interested. It still could happen. The coloring is very good as usual. Another tag? You're on a roll. Isn't there another tag challenge this week? That chair does bring back memories. Ours always had a hole. It is a great card, sorry you are bummed.

Hi Dorcas. The card is great. Fab, zingy colours to match the lemonade, and beautifully coloured too. We appreciate your efforts even if the shops around you don't.

Yes selling is hard, especially online, they just sit there. Your cards are so stunning so that's ultra hard. This one is no exception, love the colouring again. Your dog is so great, love his bling. You make it all come to life. Keep your chin up girl. Hugs Lin

Your card is so cute. I found I can't happily sell my cards so I donate mine to "Blue Star Mom's" and they use them for the soilders.

Yeah, I can feel your frustration re selling - everybody keeps telling ho nice they are and how you should sell them - but nobody actually BUYS them. bhah I have pretty much given up and just making them for ... erm ... myself, really, lol
Never mind, whether you can sell them or not - your cards are amazingly beautiful and make ME happy...that's very important, you know, lol

Your cards are worth more money than most I have seen and your work is outstanding. I would pay to have them. I love your coloring and want to be so much like you some day! This is drop dead gorgeous and I am debating if you coloured with your copics or prismas. Your the boom no matter what other folks say!
