I hope your day has started off well. :-)
Today's card I made using one of the cutest Mo images ever! I don't know why but I just love this one. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils on Kraft cardstock . Loved every minute of it. There's something very relaxing about coloring on Kraft. I love how the layers of color build until you reach the point where everything just kind of "comes to life".
So this week's challenge at Mo's DP2 is a sketch and a very simple one at that so there should be no hang ups. I stuck to it as best as I could. :-) I thought that for once I had followed the rules to a T and then looked at the sketch again and saw flowers on the bottom right. Hmmmmmm Do you think thats interpretational? Cos they metamorphosed into buttons!
Oh! By the way, the paper is DCWV and the paper punch is Martha Stewart. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. And the buttons are from Home Sew. Love that place! The frames are Spellbinder's Nestabilities.

OMG, this is so beautiful. I like your image on kraft. I never did it, I can't find it in a shop, but it is stunning. Love your gorgeous layout and the way you stitched.

Gorgeous card, Dorcas. The darker dp ground really make your colours 'pop!' You really do have a way with your pencils on Kraft.

Just when I think it is impossible for your coloring to improve, I see this and realize you get better and better. Your skin is getting perfected with each card you make! Love the paper and sketch too! When you are famous, I can say I knew you you way back when no when knew you! LOL! No one will turn down your cards then! LOL!

Oh, coloring on kraft must be nice... for you :) coz you always get the nicest colors and shades and manage to "bring them to life". I am using the kraft you sent me for more...simple stuff :) I am ruining it with colors :(. Your coloring is so perfect! Oh and I LOVE that paper combo :) the contrast is so striking and beautiful! This must be my fave card!
