Well when I colored this picture in I was thinking of all sorts of things these ladies might be saying....
"Can you believe what we used to wear? I wouldn't be caught DEAD in that now!" lol
Isn't that how it goes?
The styles of today become the fashion disasters of tomorrow?
Anyway, the theme this week at Phindy's is
Humor
And I wish I could laugh at the hassle this card threw me while I was making it! First, I picked out my paper (always a mistake in my book!) and then when I was all finished coloring in my image to fit my paper, it just wouldn't meld. The paper was too busy. So back to square one, looking for paper to match my image. Finally I decided on just a strip of this striped paper. It ties it in without being too busy.
In saying that, I find the card a tad boring....
Whatever!

Oh Dorcas, don't be stressed out about your card. It's gorgeous and with fab colouring as always. Hey, you know I always pick my papers before I start to colour, but each to his/her own. Just do what works for you.

your coloring is always wonderful! I often dont add a sentiment - let whoever is sending it write what they want!

Boring? Are you kidding, this is hardly boring. Your brilliant coloring just jumps off the page. I love the clean layout, really lets Mrs. Comfy and her friend shine. I think it's great Dorcas!
Boring? This card can tell so much story's. It's so recognizable! You colored the image so well that it's speaks for themself.

Nope, totally non-boring card in my books - the calm background actually lets the eye rest on that very detailed image - I LOVE mrs. Comfy stamps!

I don't think it is boring either! I think it is the perfect amount of color. Sometimes the paper can overwhelm the image, so this work out perfectly. I love skewed panels and the two colored ribbons work great too! The image is quite funny! That is us in a few years girlfriend! Thinking we r quite hip and happening! LOL! Anyway... great card with your usual awesome coloring!
