Bad Boy!

*For today's DDCC and Mos DP2 card click here

Finally!!!
My trap has suddenly caught something!
Look at that face!
(just so you know, nothing is hooked on him.) The stick you see is just that, a stick that we put in front of him to see if he would bite. And yes, not only did he grab it but he wouldn't let go and we could actually pick him up by the stick!

He's just over 10 inches in length. About 8 inches wide.

And below you have the sweeeeeet little monster that I was oohing and ahhing over last year when I saw all these cute turtles hatching. Not realizing that they were snapping turtles. Oh yes, all babies are cute!

Especially my duck babies...... :)
This is Cocoa

I'll be back tomorrow with my Phindy's card. Til then everyone have a great day!

2 down 1,000 to go! It's a start, but at least it is progress! Need to clear them out before that cutie and her sisters are ready to swim the pond! She is adorable. Love her name too. You named all 16? Wow!

Cocoa is super cute!! So fluffy!
Thanks for the turtle-pictures - I was not aware of the fact that they´re that "dangerous"...

Awwww, isn't she adorable? I love her name and her color. It's sad that one animal can't coexist with another without one being hurt. As you say, all babies are cute, but then they grow up. My friend Dovie used to have the same problem, she either had to swim in and get them out, or (close your ears Mr. Turtle)use her shotgun to get rid of them. Hopefully, you'll get them out the humane way. Hugs, dj

Your new babies are so darling! I hope you're able to rid the lake of those mean turtles! I didn't know that they would harm the ducks...so sad! You know what I told you about turtle soup! Hee Hee Just kidding around! Those turtles are sorta cute too, especially the babies. To bad that they can't live together and share the lake! Take care Dorcas, and good luck! :)

:) I had a turtle just like that!!! He died unfortunately :(... and my parrot escaped (but that was my in-laws' fault! I'll remember that forever :P).
Cocoa is the fluffiest, sweetest, cutest ducky! I hardly wait to "meet" more of the "family"!

Hugs

Am I the first to comment the 2nd time on this bad boy!!?? Glad you have found a new home for these pesky guys. A home that they will be very happy, but no ducks to torment. 4 down 996 to go! (I lowered by # from yesterday!) LOl! Cocoa is a cute little ball of fuzziness! Can't wait to see them all.

Hi Dorcas. Glad you found the time to re-post the turtle. You will have to let us know where his new home is. Little Cocoa is totally gorgeous - thanks for sharing her photo.

Glad you caught your snappy little turtle. Think you're much safer with your duckling - it looks a lot sweeter for a start! Jx
