Can you hear it??
I got a call at 6:00 this morning from the Post Office, asking me to come pick up a parcel. And here it is!
This box is positively resonating with peeps! (all female~ need I explain? lol )
Time to open it up:
(yes, seriously. My peeps came in this box all 16 of them. They made a two day journey from California and are all doing well. )
They practically jumped out of the box, Ive never seen such hyper ducks. You can see that the picture is blurred a bit. I just couldn't get them to sit still for a picture. ;-)
Getting comfy in their rubbermade "brooder".
(no, I'm not feeding them milk. Thats a waterer I made with a half&half container and its filled with sugar -water.)
Look at the little shweeties!!!!!
Just checking the temperature after about an hour and introducing them to their feed....
So we're all happy campers today!
Just thought I'd share~
See you tomorrow with a new card project!

Gosh it's been forever since I've been around little peepers! Grandma had a few ducks but mostly chickens and I was always fascinated with the babies. Have fun with your new critters! :-)
Hi Dorcas they are absolutely gorgeous but by the looks of them they wont be in the brooder for to long as they seem to be growing as you watch them. Take care with hugs Shirleyx

Oh Dorcas, they are adorable. So happy for you. Glad they arrived safe & sound after their arduous journey. I have been watching the baby sparrows in our garden - their poor dad does nothing but shove food into ever gaping mouths...LOL. Hope the eggs hatch as successfully as these have travelled.
