Midnight Gardening

So I think this is a first for me:
Making a card thats all Black and White except the image. It was a little challenging but at the same time took out the guess work. No matching colors to papers, just B&W. It was quite liberating. lol
Anyway the theme this week at Phindy's is, you guessed it:
All Black and White Except Image

So for a recipe we have as follows:
Image: Phindy
Colors: Prismacolors
Sentiment circle: Whimsy Stamps
Charm: a gift from Iulia
punches: Martha Stewart
brad: Recollection (I think)

A few challenges:
Alota Rubber Stamps - -  Summertime
Always Something Creative - The beginning of Summer
By the Cute & Girly -- In the garden
Tiffany Doodles - Steppin in to summer
Little Darlings Challenges - Summer (2nd week
Paper Shelter Challenge -  punches and dies
7 Kids College Fund -summer card but no Magnolia stamp
Anything Goes Challenge  Here Comes Summer
Creative Card Crew - Ribbons & brads

Thanks for coming by to visit! Happy Crafting!

Happy Anniversary my sweet friend! Hope you're enjoying your day! This card is such fun...I never realized how liberating it must be to use just white and black for papers. I may have to try that sometime. You know how much I adore your work...and how envious I am of your coloring talent!! I aspire to be you...well, except maybe the ducks in the bathtub thing! LOL! Hugs. Pat

Dorcas, midnight gardening is only possible in Finland with the midnight sun, sun never sets summer nights etc.

I love the image because is so ladylike with the scarf and your way to colour it. It gives depth in a curious way to add black dp. Lovely!

Tulips look real to me and the watering can makes me cry, admiring the light and shadows. Sky looks new!

btw: Please go and have a look one of An's latest coloring:

Sorry to advertise here, but Prismacolors and she makes a perfect match!
