Hiya Peeps! How is your week treating you?
Today's card needs a bit of background explaning.
My daughter and my Dad have had this joke since she was a toddler and used to read the book, "Guess How Much I Love You". They need to out-do the other with their expressions of love.
"I love you to the moon and back.." "Yeah, well, I love you around the universe a hundred gajillion times"....it goes on and on and on......
So this digi reminded me of her and I thought it was kinda sweet. :-)
front view:
I am using a digi by Mo Manning and colored with Derwent Graphitint pencils and Prismacolors. (except the skin which is copics)
A close up:
And the detail area below:
You know I never do the inside of a card.. well this time I had to because I couldn't fit the sentiment on the front without it looking too out of place. So here is the inside:
It reads:
"I love You To The Moon And Back" (from the book Guess How Much I Love You)
You can see I didn't go crazy with it. I just had to stick that sentiment somehwhere! I would like to enter this in a couple of challenges:
Stamp with Fun: Sketch
Quixotic Paperie: The great outdoors (starry night)
Frosted Design: Use a quote (inside card~ from book)
For Fun Challenge: Glitter (in stars)
Thanks for everything guys!

Oh my goodness Dorcas - this is beautiful - the stitching is fabulous and I love the colors too! Simply stunning!
Hugs,

Love your card. I will have to do a few more cards that aren's so busy, like yours. It makes the main items pop out more. The color and sewing are great. Hugs, dj
Very beautiful card, love the colour combo and knew straight away what your sentiment was. Very cute image. I have pix of 'guess how much i love you' on the wall going up my stairs. Goodness that book is such a tear jerker lol. A challenge question....if a recipe calls for Design papers does that mean big named stuff such as basic grey etc. Most of my papers came from E.bay and have no designer name on them. hugs lin
Wow this is gorgeous and beautifully coloured, love your choice in blog background too.(I have the same lol)

Beautiful card and the story behind it is so very special. Thanks for joining us at For Fun this week. Hope to see you back next Wednesday. "Hugs" Carol
Hi Dorcas. Love the story to go with your card. Great colours and wonderful colouring, as always - and those brads are perfect and a special touch!

Whoa, loads of gorgeousness coming up here - I especially love how you've coloured her jacket (I always find that sort of a detailed fold work tricky with prismas. and yes, it's me, not prismas) and Bronte - you have truly given that pooch shape!
