This is really gorgeous, Dorcas. She definitely takes me back to my first and only pair of roller skates that I ever owned. Hugs, dj

Hi Dorcas. Yep, I too had Jako skates I think they were called, when I was a girl, that strapped onto your own shoes. Broke my arm whilst standing still!
Great card, and beautifully coloured. Fab layout too.

Voi miten kaunis--haluaisimpa oppia tuon Kraft-kartongille värittämisen noin hyvin kuin sinä sen osaat--olen kyllä katsonut ohjeesi :)) mutta--

Fab card and awesome image - love it Dorcas! Keep your eye out for my first Kraft card/pencil project (I love the way it makes the colours zing) and thanks for helping me locate the card, you're a star!! ~ Jane

Super nice and lovely card!! The colors are so summerly and I love this button/twine-embellishment-idea on the left!

Hi my blogging buddy! Not dropped off the end of the earth ad you may have thought, just seems like my days seem to be short of a few hours lol! I love this sweet design, the colours are gorgeous and the
Image takes me back.... Not only to my days of rollerskating but to the first time I was allowed to have a key on a string around my neck! How grown up I felt! Have a great day, Julie x

Great card as always Dorcas. There's so many things I like about it ~ the papers, button/twine on left, ticket, image sewing. etc. etc.
I just have to check out Sew Sweet, you always have such lovely ribbons.
Thanks for sharing & have a great day.
Luv, Babs

This is so cute!I had those skates too. My favorite thing to do! Love that quilt thing going on again! I am going to try this! I started cutting the squares out last night, it just did not work. I see you have been "practicing" your coloring again. Keep working at it you'll get it !! LOL As always, AMAZING!! That yellow bow is the perfect touch!

This is just too cute, Dorcas! I've got to learn to color the way you do on Kraft....just amazing!
You mentioned a book on how to color using pencils once, but I didn't take note of the title. I'd love to purchase one if you could let me know.
