A "Fairyland" New Home

I thought I would do a little bit of experimenting today. :-)
You all know how I love to color. Well, I 'm not coloring!Today's card was made using one of Nicecrane's  ATC/ACEO backs which I copy and pasted into word and then stretched into a 51/2 inch square.
Front view:

This opens up a whole new world to me. He's got tons of ATC backs and now that I know I can resize them, I can make all sorts of background paper out of them for my cards. Of course, this wouldn't work if there were people in the picture (they might look like they're playing in the funny mirrors) but for scenes like the one above, it works like a dream. How cool is that?
I made this card for our neighbors who have just built a new house and will be moving.:-(

A close up of the picture below:

I printed this on my new printer. yay!! I am back in business, guys!! (for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, my printer broke over the weekend).
Here is the ATC/ACEO Background sheet I used below:

Remeber that  these background sheets are designed for ATCs, so if you want to use them for cards you MUST RESIZE them.

You can buy it from Nicecranes Shop here

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Color Create: Purple, mint and yellow
Playdate Cafe: Purple/gold
The ABC challenge : C is for Charm

Again great card. The key works like pig's earrigs :D

You actually can scretch any pic to fit, people or not, if you scale it. Of course very often some cropping is needed, but that is just a piece of cake. Ah, something I can help with!

Very pretty Dorcas! And here you're not coloring and I just invested in some Prismacolor pencils. And a sharpener too! I'm going back to your tutorial on how to color. I was looking for Gamsol at A. C. Moore and couldn'd find it. Does the baby oil do the same thing? I also bought a colorless blending pencil. Does that replace the baby oil? Well, you're the expert, that's why I'm peppering you with questions. I want to be a color master like you when I grow up :)
And thanks for joining us at the Play Date Cafe!
