Tuesday Morning Sketches~ The Pig and The Masseuse

First things first. :-) First of all I am priviledged today to be the featured stamper for
Tuesday Morning Sketches!! Wahooo!! Thanks guys :-)
So, on to the card which was a riot to make. Below is the sketch:

And a front view of the card:

There's a bit of a private joke here, but suffice it to say that I made this card for my dad who happens to be a masseuse. He has one client (who I have no idea who it is~ privacy acts and all) who he nicknames Butterball. *cough cough*
(by the way, this is me in a few years with all this sitting on my rump making cards. It will be "tushy touche")
Okay, moving on!
A close up and a recipe:

Dont you just love the earrings? It was a last minute add on and I love em to pieces! lol
Can you tell this card just makes me happy?

Dps: DCWV
Image: Mo Manning
Colors: Prismacolors
Pearls: Recollection
Ribbon: Offray
Frame: Nestability
Buttons: from stash
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug
Sentiment: me

Now these buttons....

Don't you think they look rather snout-like? I had to add them.
And the sentiment:

Speaking of pigs, you all know I live in the country in North Carolina. Here in the country you get asked some interesting things. I've been asked if I wanted to hold someone's Turkey, (full grown gobble gobble turkey)  for instance.
Well yesterday our mechanic asked our daughter if she would like to go to their house and ride his pig!!
Yes, you heard right. ride his pig.
It turns out he has two pet porkers named Pork Chops and Bacon, 750 pounds and 1000 pounds respectively.
Uhhhhhh......no. I think I'll pass this time. But tempting! So tempting! lol

I would like to enter this in a few challenges:

Paper Play: stitches
Funky Friday: Something sweet (pigs are sweet, right?)
Frosted Designs: Pink, green and white
A Spoonful Of Sugar: Animal Crackers
Tuesday Morning Sketches: Sketch (Of  Course!)

Guess who was roaring laughing at your story so loudly that my hubby suspected I've acquired a horse in my stash???
Really cool card, that stitch is so nice! And I love the embossed background. I like doing that myself too but usually all folders are too small for my cards, I tend to work in 6x6 :(
