Mo's Dream Team ~ Blog Hop Time! / It's Been A Scream

Hello Hello!
A big welcome to Mo's monthly blog hop! The theme this month is vintage and this is my first ever card that I destroyed on purpose! lol
It was a little scary but quite fun. Such power when there's scissors in the hands.
I've coined a new phrase:
Shabby  Shaggy Chic
Oh yes, I'm full of it today!

This month , as you know, Ive been GD for Mo and so I thought this was an appropriate card as my time dwindles away... *sniff sniff*
a couple of close ups:

My Recipe:
Dp's : K&Co. and misc
Image: Mo's image "Skating" available here
colors: Derwent Graphitint pencils
Ticket Sentiment: Raindrop echo designs

OKay! So now to get hopping!
If you came here from Debbie's blog you're in the right place. If you're totally screwed up, go on back to the Dream Team Blog and start at the beginning. (always the best place to start!)
If you're somewhere in between, then here's a list :-)
You are here >  Dorcas (that's me!)

So you all need to be hopping over to Mina's blog next and see what gorgeous eye candy she has for you! Be sure to leave some lovin along the way. :-)
Thanks for playing!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says: sparkle
Paper Play: let it snow

Hi Dorcas....and why have you not tried distressing before? You have done it brilliantly! Totally fab colourway and so beautifully coloured. You sure can wield a pencil girl!

Hi!
I love the vintage style in general - so I like everything about your card: the distressing, the faux stitching, your coloring, the sparkle (!) and I love the idea to mimic snow with the piece of white fibre, you wound around the sentiment!
Very well done!

Stunning!
The fun thing is that you've used the same image I wanted to use first. Glad I didn't, lol.
Beautiful card.
